The Two Ways We Handle Data
We keep this policy plain and specific on purpose. If anything is unclear, contact us at info@inteliqx.com.
We handle data in two distinct roles, and your rights differ depending on which applies.
1. Data we control. When you visit our website, sign up for an account, contact support, or pay for our services, InteliqX decides how that information is used. We are the "controller" of this data, and this policy governs it directly.
2. Data we process for our customers. The core of our platform is business data (CRM and ERP exports, financial records, and similar files) that our customers upload for analysis. That data belongs to the customer firm. We process it only on the firm's instructions under our agreement with them, and the firm decides who can access it, how long it is kept, and when it is deleted. If your personal information appears in a customer's uploaded data (for example, as a sales contact in a CRM export), the customer firm is responsible for it, and you should direct any privacy request to that firm. We support our customers in fulfilling those requests.
Information We Collect (As Controller)
- Business contact information. Name, work email, company, and role, when you sign up, request a demo, or contact us.
- Account and authentication data. Login credentials and authentication events, managed through our identity provider, Auth0. We do not store your password.
- Billing information. Payment details are collected and processed by Stripe. We do not store full payment card numbers.
- Support and communications. Messages you send us, managed in our CRM and support tooling.
- Usage and log data. Standard server logs and minimal product analytics (pages viewed, features used, IP address, browser type). We do not use advertising trackers.
Platform Data (As Processor)
Customer platform data is held in single-tenant database schemas, isolated per customer, and hosted on Amazon Web Services in the United States (us-east-1). Access is restricted to the customer's authorized users and to InteliqX personnel who need it to operate and support the service.
AI features. Parts of our platform use large language models from Anthropic to generate analysis narratives. Anthropic is contractually prohibited from training models on our or our customers' data. LLM inference is pinned to United States infrastructure, and we record the serving geography of every call. Anthropic may retain API inputs and outputs for up to 30 days for trust and safety purposes, after which they are deleted.
How We Use Information
We use the information we control to provide and improve the service, authenticate users, process payments, respond to support requests, send service and account communications, maintain security, and meet legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Who We Share Information With
We share information only with service providers who help us run the business, under contracts that restrict their use of it.
Platform subprocessors (these process customer platform data and match the list on our Trust Center):
| Provider | Purpose | Location |
|---|---|---|
| Amazon Web Services | Cloud hosting and storage | United States (us-east-1) |
| Anthropic | LLM analysis narrative generation | United States |
| Auth0 (Okta) | Identity and authentication | United States |
| Stripe | Payments and billing | United States |
Website and business operations providers (these do not receive customer platform data):
- HubSpot: CRM and support tooling for our own sales and support communications
- BetterStack: service status page and uptime communications
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a corporate transaction such as a merger or acquisition, in which case this policy will continue to apply to previously collected data.
How Long We Keep Data
Retention periods below reflect our internal Data Management Policy.
Customer platform data (offboarding). When a customer subscription ends, offboarding is a deliberate, confirmed step, not an automatic side effect. During a 30-day grace period the customer can export their data, both original uploads and generated outputs. Platform data is then deleted within 90 days of subscription end. An encrypted archive of disposed data is retained for 12 months as a recovery and dispute safeguard, then destroyed. Extended retention is available as a contracted option.
Records retained after offboarding. We keep limited business records after a customer leaves: audit trails, billing and credit ledgers, and minimal account administration records, with personal contact fields cleared where feasible. These are kept for security, financial, and legal purposes.
Backups. Deleting data does not instantly remove it from backups. Rolling automated database backups are kept for 35 days, and monthly backups for up to 12 months, after which deleted data ages out of all backup sets.
Logs. Security and application logs are retained for 365 days.
Billing records. Payment and subscription records are kept for the duration of the customer relationship plus 7 years, to meet financial and tax requirements.
Everything else. We keep personal information only as long as we have a business need or a legal obligation, then delete or de-identify it.
Deletion Requests
If you have an InteliqX account and want your account information deleted, contact us at info@inteliqx.com. We will honor verified requests unless we have a legal obligation or legitimate business need to retain specific records (such as billing history), and we will tell you if so.
For personal information contained in a customer firm's platform data, the firm controls deletion. When a firm instructs us to delete data, or offboards, we carry out deletion through the retention schedule above. We do not delete individual records from a customer's dataset without the customer's instruction.
Security
We run a security program aligned to SOC 2, including encryption in transit and at rest, per-tenant data isolation, access controls, and continuous monitoring. Current details, including our compliance status and subprocessor list, are on our Trust Center.
No system is perfectly secure. If we learn of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify affected customers and individuals as required by law.
Your Choices And Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of certain processing. To exercise any of these, email info@inteliqx.com. We will verify your request and respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
We serve businesses, not consumers, and our processing of personal data is limited to business contact and account information plus the customer-controlled platform data described above.
Children
Our services are for businesses and business users. They are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes To This Policy
When we make material changes, we will update this page, change the effective date, and notify active customers by email or in-product notice. Prior versions are available on request.

Our Terms of Use govern use of the website and the platform. Where a signed customer agreement addresses the same subject, that agreement controls.
